As a proud lifelong resident of St George, Cr Ash Ambihaipahar brings deep local knowledge and a genuine commitment to her role on Council. Growing up in Narwee and Hurstville, she understands the unique challenges and aspirations of the community she serves. Now in her second term, Cr Ambihaipahar combines her professional expertise and passion for public service to make a real difference for residents.
In her role as Regional Director for the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW, she oversees support centres and van services. They provide vital emergency relief, including food and material assistance, to those in need.
Cr Ambihaipahar brings a diverse skill set to the table. She has a Juris Doctor (PLT) and Bachelor of Science degree. She also has a decade-long career as a lawyer specialising in employment and industrial relations. Her previous work at the University of Sydney's Anatomy and Histology Department further underscores her broad expertise.
Cr Ambihaipahar chairs the Assets and Infrastructure Committee. She also sits on the Finance and Governance Committee.
Cr Ambihaipahar is known for her strong voice and dedication and is a passionate advocate for the St George community. She is committed to ensuring the well-being of its residents remains her top priority.
