Culture in Colour: Mayoral Art Competition

Imagine your artwork come to life on posters, flyers, and digital promotions across our Georges River community!

The Culture in Colour: Mayoral Art Competition provides an opportunity for primary school children in the Georges River area to showcase their artistic talents by creating artwork celebrating the cultural and festival days that are special to them.

We want you to choose a cultural day that is special to you – whether it's Diwali, Christmas, Lunar New Year, Eid al-Fitr, or any other cultural celebration that holds significance in your life, and create an artwork to show why it's important to you.

Enter the competition to unleash your creativity, celebrate your culture and have the chance to win a $50 gift card for art supplies to support your talents!

Entries are open now!

Entries are open from Saturday 1 February to Monday 28 April 2025. Open to all primary school aged children in the Georges River Local Government Area.

All winners will be presented with a certificate and a $50.00 gift voucher for art supplies at the Culture in Colour: Mayoral Art Competition Exhibition Opening Night. Details coming soon.
