Culture in Colour: Mayoral Art Competition

Imagine your artwork come to life on posters, flyers, and digital promotions across our Georges River community!

The annual Culture in Colour: Mayoral Art Competition provides an opportunity for primary school children in the Georges River area to showcase their artistic talents by creating artwork celebrating the cultural and festival days that are special to them.
 

Entries have now closed - 28 April! 

Thank you to all the primary school students who entered this year's competition!

Finalists and winners were presented with their certificates and gift vouchers at our Culture in Colour Mayoral Art Competition Exhibition Opening on Wednesday 4 June 2025.

How to get involved?

While this years competition has closed, you can come along to see all the wonderful finalists and winning works at our Culture in Colour Exhibition, on 4 June to 30 June at Hurstville Library.

Keep your eyes out for these colourful works featuring cultural celebrations within our community on Council's promotions over the next year, and stay tuned for next years competition which will open again early 2026.
