Spring is the time to get outside, clean up, and prepare for summer. It's also the perfect time to give back to the environment during Council’s Great Spring Clean Up on Wednesday, 21 October!

In support of Clean Up Australia’s initiative, Council’s Environment, Waste and Sustainability Team is inviting the community to a litter clean-up at Hurstville Oval.

This is a great opportunity for Georges River residents to help remove litter from our local environment, connect with others, and make a positive impact. It’s also a chance to learn more about waste, recycling, and sustainability from our team of experts.

Litter affects the health of our parks, waterways, and wildlife. Let’s come together to clean our local area. This way, we can raise awareness about waste, take pride in our shared spaces, and keep Georges River clean and welcoming for everyone. Grab your gloves and your enthusiasm as we make the Georges River cleaner and greener.
