Join us at Hurstville Library for a community screening of a new short film, These Creeks Connect Us.

Most people know Sydney as a harbour city. Beyond the Harbour lies another Sydney. A city of creeks, rivers, wetlands and floodplains that connect neighbourhoods, communities and ecosystems across Sydney.

These Creeks Connect Us, invites you to discover the waterways flowing across your suburb and explore how everyday actions influence the health of local creeks, the Georges River and the ocean.

These Creeks Connect Us was produced by Georges Riverkeeper with support from the Sydney Water Community Grants Program, Fairfield City Council and Georges Riverkeeper Member Councils: Bayside, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Georges River, Liverpool and Sutherland Shire. Together, we are working to reduce pollution, restore local creeks, remove litter and help communities connect with nature.

Following the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with Georges Riverkeeper staff, who will be available to share information and discuss our local waterways.
