Join the community for the 2026 Georges River Mid-Autumn Festival in the heart of Hurstville.

The festival will bring Hurstville Plaza and the surrounding CBD area to life with food stalls, retail stalls, community activities and cultural entertainment.

As part of the celebration, Australian Yau Kung Mun Chinese Martial Arts Association and Lion Dance Kids will present a traditional lion dance parade through Hurstville CBD. Featuring colourful lions, live drumming, cymbals and young local performers, the parade celebrates Chinese cultural heritage and gives the next generation of Australian lion dancers valuable real-world performance experience.

Families, residents and visitors are invited to enjoy the festival atmosphere, follow the lions, take photos and experience this cultural tradition up close.

This is a free community event. All ages are welcome.
