Georges River Council’s annual Magic of Christmas event is making its highly anticipated return to Carss Bush Park.
 
A favourite event amongst the community, locals, friends, and families are invited to gather for an evening of festive fun, Christmas-themed stalls, delectable food and drink options, and a stellar line-up of entertainment and performances.
 
The star-studded line-up includes headliner Samantha Jade, Sara Petrovski, The Minions, Cocomelon featuring JJ, Cody and Nina, Georges Estate Choir and Georges River Voices. Emma Palmer will also make an appearance as emcee.
 
Roving entertainment features LED roving Christmas characters, candy canes and Giant Christmas bubbles.
 
A very special guest from the North Pole along with his cheeky Elf will also swing by Carss Bush Park to make an appearance!
 
The evening will be capped off with a spectacular fireworks show – the biggest of its kind in Sydney’s south.
 
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said: “Magic of Christmas is such a wonderful way to kick off Council’s jam-packed Summer events program.
 
“Last year, 22,000 people attended the Magic of Christmas event so it’s quite clear how much locals and visitors love it. The event is free and offers a terrific program for all to enjoy.
 
“I invite all members of our community to head down to Carss Bush Park to enjoy the wonderful event. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for our special guest in a red suit!” added the Mayor.

When: Saturday 7 December 2024, 4.30pm – 9.00pm.
Where: Carss Bush Park, Carwar Avenue, Carss Park.
Cost: Free.
What to bring: Picnic rugs and chairs.
