National Simultaneous Storytime: Rhyme Time for Babies and Toddlers

This is a Council led event.

21/05/2025 - South Hurstville Library

Celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime with Georges River Libraries. Children aged 0-3 and their carers are invited to join our Rhyme Time for Babies and Toddlers session for songs, rhymes, and a reading of The Truck Cat.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, family day cares, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.

This year we have a range of events and activities for everyone to participate and inspire your world!
