National Simultaneous Storytime: Oatley Library

This is a Council led event.

21/05/2025 - Oatley Library

Celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime with Georges River Libraries. Children aged 3-5 and their carers can join our NSS Story Time, featuring a reading of The Truck Cat and other exciting picture books. Bring your favourite truck or toy cat to join in the fun!

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, family day cares, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country. This year we have a range of events and activities for everyone to participate and inspire your world!
