Join Dr. Jacqui Newling, a renowned historian and gastronomer, for a hands-on butter-making experience. Dr. Newling will guide you through the art of turning cream into butter, using both modern techniques and historical methods.
Discover the science behind churning, rinsing, and shaping butter, while learning about food preservation and its role in domestic life before household fridges were available. Try your hand at making your own butter in just 10 minutes—and yes, you’ll get to taste the delicious results, spread on fresh bread!
