Join us for a creative sensory workshop with mural artist Patrick Hunter at Beverly Hills Creative Studio.

Explore the five senses through colour, texture and imagination in this fun and engaging 1 hour and 30-minute session. Guided by Patrick Hunter, participants will touch, smell, listen, taste and observe natural materials before working together to develop a shared mural concept inspired by the Georges River environment for the Beverly Hills Creative Studio.

Designed for all ages and abilities, this workshop focusses on connection, storytelling and creativity.

What to expect:

• Sensory activities exploring touch, smell, sight, taste and sound (including smelling native plants around the studio, tasting teas made with native ingredients, and feeling natural textures for inspiration).

• ​Guided drawing and mark-making activities.

• A relaxed and supportive environment, with all materials provided.

Participants will also have the option to taste native teas (vegan and gluten-free) at their own discretion. Tea blends may include:

• Assam, Daintree and Rwanda tea leaves.

• Daintree black tea, wattle seed, aniseed myrtle, mountain pepper berry leaf, vanilla and vanilla bean flavour.

• Lemon myrtle, lemon-scented gum, Alpine sencha green tea, dried desert lime and lime flavour.

Seasonal native plants participants may be able to smell or touch in Merv Lynch Reserve include:

• Jasmine.

• Water Gum.

• Lemon Myrtle.

• Tallowwood.
