This is a Council led event.

24/08/2026 - Online.

Learn how to stay cyber-safe with Georges River Council's Small Business Cyber-Safe online workshop.

Small Business Cyber-Safe workshop is part of Georges River Council's No Phishing in Georges River campaign. Join us as we mark Scams Awareness Week 2026.

Small businesses face increasing cybercrime risks and it can be challenging to know where to start when it comes to protecting your business online.

This presentation will introduce IDCARE and the ways they support small businesses in strengthening their cyber resilience.

You’ll gain insights into:

  • Common risks such as data breaches, ransomware, and device vulnerabilities.

  • Practical steps to safeguard your business and the community it serves.

Through real-world statistics, preventative strategies, and expert guidance, we’ll explore how to:

  • Secure your systems.

  • Rrespond effectively to incidents.

  • Access personalised, one-on-one cyber advice through IDCARE’s cyber advisory, as well as support from our case management and cyber first aid services.
