National Simultaneous Storytime: After School Craft

This is a Council led event.

21/05/2025 - Hurstville Library.

Celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime with Georges River Libraries at our themed crafternoon for 5-12 year olds! Be inspired by reading Deborah Frenkel’s book The Truck Cat together, then make your own feline friend or freight-filled truck to take home with you. It’s sure to be a purrrfectly delightful afternoon!

National Simultaneous Storytime is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, and many other places around the country. This year we have a range of events and activities  for everyone to participate and inspire your world!
