Music in the Morning - Seniors Concert starring Franky Valentyn, Dorathy Cooper and the Joseph Macri Band

The next concert in the Music in the Morning - Seniors Concert series is held on Wednesday 15 January 2025 and features Franky Valentyn, Dorathy Cooper and the Joseph Macri Band.

With a career stretching back to the late 1970s, Franky has been a major performer in bands like the Beatnix and Le Club Nerd. He was also musical director/pianist on ABC TV Play School. The winner of multiple MO Awards and ACE Awards (Australian Club Entertainment) in multiple categories, Franky is one of the most entertaining musicians you will ever see!  

Dorathy Cooper has been nominated for many awards and has performed on Australian national television including “The Bert Newton Midday Show”. Dorathy performs songs from the 1940’s to today. She is an all-round performer who can work in any situation and has delighted audiences from all ages. Dorathy began her professional career at the age of fifteen and established herself as one of the most respected female vocalists on the Sydney Circuit.

Music in the Morning will also feature multi-award-winning backing band – Joseph Macri Band, featuring some of Australia’s finest musicians.
