Harmony Week: Spanish/Catalan Rhyme Time (ages 18 months and under)

Join us at Georges River Libraries during Harmony Week for bilingual stories, rhymes, and craft celebrating the different cultures and languages of the Georges River area.

Friday 21 March is also International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Our sessions during this week will also include information about Bystander Intervention.

Reading lists and take-home packs will be available at all branches throughout the week if you can’t make it to these special story times.

We have sessions available in various languages including Spanish, Catalan, Mandarin, Cantonese Hindi, German, Greek and Nepali! View our full list of Bilingual Early Literacy Sessions.

Bookings not required, however each session has limited capacity. Please arrive on time to avoid disappointment.

More information 

  • ​For participants aged 10 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.  

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue. 

  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future. 

  • The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
