Georges River is home to many passionate and talented local writers! Get to know our Georges River Writers and celebrate local writing at this community meet and greet. You’ll have the opportunity to drop in and enjoy snacks, tea, and cocoa, meet our local writing groups, discover what writing opportunities are available in the area, chat with local authors and explore their works, participate in fun drop-in activities, and more! 
 
You may even be inspired to join a group yourself and get writing!

Drop-in activities include a journal decorating station, upcycled journal making, creating found poetry using discarded books, and a story-plotting activity using Blake Snyder’s Beat Sheet. 
 
This event is suitable for ages 16 years and over.

About our Writing Groups:
You’ll have the chance to get to know the members and works of our fantastic local writing groups. Participating groups will be confirmed soon.
