Ready to wield the magic of storytelling? Let your imagination run wild and join us for this fun, hands-on writing workshop all about the genre of fantasy!
 
Award winning writer Aylish Dowsett will take you through all things adventure, magic, monsters and more.
 
In this workshop:

  • Learn how to create your own fantasy creatures, monsters, and characters!

  • Explore your favourite fantasy worlds and what makes them exciting

  • Experiment with magic, powers, and fantastical ideas

  • Create your own fantasy stories and adventures.

​This event is suitable for ages 15-18 years old.

Experience: No experience required.
Equipment: Paper and pen.

About the Facilitator: 
Aylish Dowsett is an award-winning writer, tutor, and copywriter. She teaches creative writing at The Writers’ Studio, The Writing Quarter, Creative Writing Ink, and St George and Sutherland Community College. Her work has been published in Mythrill Fiction, Collider, Honi Soit, Grapeshot, The Quarry, and many others. She loves cats and all things weird and British.
