Are you looking to take the next step in your career or change jobs entirely? Join us for our latest introductory workshop aimed at helping you develop your job seeking skills.
 
Interviewing for jobs can be a daunting task, however there are helpful techniques which you can use to give you an edge in this competitive process. 
 
In this workshop you will:

  • Learn to use the STAR technique to improve your responses to interview questions.

  • Learn to craft interview responses which respond to position descriptions and targeted questions.

  • Practice answering interview questions and receive coaching and feedback.

Whether you are new to the job market or looking to take the next step in your career development, our Job Shift workshop will give you some valuable skills for improving your job-hunting skills.

Terms and conditions:  

  • For participants under the age of 16, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.  

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue. 

  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
