School Holiday Activity: MadLab Electronics Workshop at Hurstville Library (Council Led Event)

Over this two day course, learn the art of electronic soldering while constructing unique and practical electronic devices. Increase your confidence and experience in these half-day masterclasses.
Taking on progressively more challenging kits, learn practical problem-solving and apply your artistic flair to personalise your gadgets. You will take home your working kits, plus your own soldering station equipment!
During these workshops participants will:
- Learn the safe use of soldering irons.
- Develop an understanding of electrical circuits.
- Create their own electronic gadget.

Cost
$26.50 to cover materials.
At the end of the workshop participants will receive their own soldering set to take home.

- Soldering irons will be used during the workshops so age limits will be strictly adhered to. If children under the age of 12 are booked into this program, tickets will be cancelled and refunded at the discretion of library staff.
- This program is suitable for people ages 12-17 years old who are interested in electronics and soldering.
- Program swapping is not permitted.
- For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
- This workshop will not be recorded and cannot be accessed after the scheduled time. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future.
