Join us for our hands-on exciting after school series which combines traditional literacy skills with creative expression.

Create and connect with popular children’s stories and make meaning from the stories we read together, creating art using mixed materials. Children will finish each session with a unique piece of artwork to take home and enjoy.

More information 

  • All materials and equipment will be provided. 
  • For participants aged 10 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue. 
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future. 
  • The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
