Exhibition opening: Living Abodes - Margaret Lyons (Council Led Event)
16/11/2024 - Hurstville Museum & Gallery
Join us at Hurstville Museum & Gallery to celebrate the opening of Dragon's Lair Gallery exhibition Living Abodes by artist Margeret Lyons.
Living Abodes presents a series of domestic moments which speak of warmth and connection in daily life. Margaret strives to elevate the purpose of our homes through scenes of bodies and ornaments bathed in glowing light. Today the home is often a place for isolation and digital escape; yet, these beautiful and intimate settings portray a domesticity which holds us in the present moment, fosters relationships, and revitalises the spirit.
