In this four-week course for 7 to 12 year old children. You will explore the magic of robotics and engineering and learn coding concepts like variables, loops, and if statements.

With help from your code, Edison the robot will be able to solve puzzles, navigate a maze, dance, and even wrestle with other robots!
 
About the facilitator
CodeCamp is a Sydney-based children’s technology educator with over a decade of experience in teaching STEM to school-aged children in after school programs, holiday camps, and online. Their programs develop skills seen in the digital technology component of the National Curriculum, and provide opportunities for children to continue developing their new knowledge at home.

More information

  • All materials and equipment will be provided. 
  • ​For participants aged 10 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.  
  • For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking. 
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue. 
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future. 
  • The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
