In 2022, Georges River Council initiated the delivery of the Riverwood Reconnected project installing new street trees, public furniture and two ChillOut hubs along Belmore Road, Riverwood.

A small portion of additional works is soon to be delivered, some infill planting on existing garden beds and raised planter boxes. Georges River Council has engaged Summit Open Spaces Services to undertake the works which are scheduled for next week.

The contractor will utilise appropriate traffic control to enable safe pedestrian and vehicle access through the work zone. During the works, contractors will meet all environmental requirements of Council and government agencies.

Work is expected to commence on Wednesday 18 October 2023, between 7.00am - 6.00pm and are expected to be completed by Friday 20 October 2023, weather permitting. Minor disruptions are expected as the works comprise of trimming of hedges and addition of new planting.
