Science Week Play and Explore - Expect the Unexpected with Cristy Burne (Council Led Event)

10/08/2024 - Hurstville Library.

Play, explore, and put on your creative thinking hat with STEM author Cristy Burne.

Solving peculiar problems is all part of the job for children’s author and atom-smashing reporter Cristy Burne. Whether it’s a plot hole or a wormhole, Cristy uses science, creativity and courage to invent gadgets, try new things and tackle the impossible.

Join us for an hour of Cristy’s trademark humour, energy and on-stage science, where participants of all ages will:

  • Learn about the science of story writing.

  • Investigate the importance of creativity in science.

  • Help Cristy solve perplexing problems and invent ingenious items.

Expect the Unexpected is part of George's River Science Week Play and Explore event. For more details about the day, click here.
