Georges River Council is running a new one-off event this year, which allows residents of the Georges River area to drop off any old or unwanted child car safety seats for free.

The child car safety seats will be pulled apart and the individual components (fabric, metal, hard plastic) will be recycled.
This project is a NSW Environment Protection Authority Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy initiative, funded from the waste levy.
