STEM After School - Term 3 - Microscopic and Marvellous (Council Led Event)
14/08/2024 - Clive James Library and Service Centre, Kogarah.
Join us for a new and exciting series of STEM Afterschool hands-on discovery activities for children aged 8-12 years. Each week we will be covering a new theme with a number of investigations and constructions.
Microscopic and Marvellous
Take a closer look at all things microscopic and marvellous! In this workshop we explore the science of magnification and discover how and when to use dissection and light microscopes. Look closely at a variety of microscopic samples to discover there is often more than meets the eye.
About the Facilitator
Children's Discovery create opportunities for children and their families to engage in life-long learning experiences. Our work is backed by research showing how early interventions, that spark imagination, build children's confidence, communication, collaboration, creativity and a can-do attitude.
