Let your creativity shine at our Painted Paper Lanterns Workshop!

Join us for a fun and engaging session where you'll learn how to create stunning paper lanterns using a variety of mixed media techniques. This workshop is perfect for adults looking to explore their artistic side, meet new people, and take home a beautiful, hand painted paper lantern.

  • Discover the joy of working with mixed media to create unique and personalised paper lanterns.

  • Leave with a completed paper lantern that you can proudly display at home.

  • Connect with like-minded individuals in a relaxed, creative environment.

  • Receive tips, guidance and inspiration on working with mixed media.

No prior art or craft experience is required – just an open mind and a sense of playfulness.

About the facilitator
This workshop is run by local artist Mary-Helen Daly. She is a qualified Transpersonal Art Therapist who works with people of all ages to access joy and wellbeing through creativity.

Terms and conditions

  • Participants must be 16+.

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.

  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
