Make your mark! Create abstract expressive art with non-traditional materials.

Come along and play with non-traditional tools and textures to make expressive abstract art.

Dive into the world of abstract art with our innovative and expressive art workshop. This 2-hour session is designed for adults who want to explore new ways of creative expression through spontaneous and intuitive techniques.

  • Experiment with a variety of non-traditional materials, to create abstract designs on paper, expanding your creativity
  • Engage in a relaxing and therapeutic art activity that encourages mindfulness and creative expression which helps reduce stress.
  • Create one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect your personal artistic journey and unique style.
  • Learn how to make a simple artist book from one of your artworks created during the workshop.


About the facilitator
This workshop is run by local artist Mary-Helen Daly. She is a qualified Transpersonal Art Therapist who works with people of all ages to access joy and wellbeing through creativity.

Experience: No prior art experience is necessary - just bring your curiosity and willingness to experiment!

Equipment: All materials and equipment for the craft will be provided. However, please bring an apron or wear old clothes, as we'll be using some messy materials.

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
