School Holiday Workshop - Children's Yoga (Council Led Event)

Unlock the benefits of yoga for children as we notice our mind-body connection through breath work, awareness, and movement. The practice of yoga can help increase our physical health while focusing on emotional regulation.
 
During this workshop participants will:

  • Focus on remedial yoga postures for cold and flu based on Traditional Chinese 5 Element Theory.

  • Experience and explore yoga mindfulness.

  • Practice traditional yoga poses.

 
These workshops are suitable for children aged 5-12 years old with an interest in movement and mindfulness.
 
About the facilitator
Little Tree Yoga is run by Shuyu (Katrina), a mother to three children and registered Level 2 Yoga teacher.  
 
Age: 5-12 years old.
Cost: Free.
Equipment: Equipment and materials will be provided. Children should wear comfortable clothing that doesn’t inhibit movement.
