Get ready for a clay-tastic time and let your child’s imagination run wild as they mould their own clay critters!

Clay Critters is a fun and hands-on workshop that focuses on children’s creative self-expression and leaves them with a unique critter to call their own and take home.
 
During this workshop participants will:

  • Learn basic techniques such as rolling, pinching and shaping the clay.

  • Design and make their own critter using clay.

  • Decorate their critter.

These workshops are suitable for children aged 5-12 years old with an interest in exploring textures and making with their hands.
 
Please be mindful that children will be working with clay, to avoid disappointment please wear old clothing that may get dirty.

Age: 5-12 years old.
Materials: Equipment and materials will be provided.

  • For participants under the age of 16, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.

  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.

  • The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
