Learn to maximise your YouTube influence in the Media Lab!

Learn to maximise your YouTube influence in this hands-on session where you’ll learn tips and tricks to work with algorithms to increase your audience engagement on YouTube.
 
In this Media Lab session you will learn to create engaging content for YouTube, gain an understanding of YouTube impressions and algorithms, and how to best work with YouTube Studio.
 
Participants will learn about:

  • Creating content for YouTube.

  • Understanding YouTube impressions, including ways to improve impressions and engagement.

  • Working with YouTube Studio and revenue generation.

 
About the facilitator:
Albert Ong is the founder of Tinkery, an edTech social startup aiming to make hands on learning accessible through creative prototyping kits and courses. 
 
Albert has over a decade of experience as a hybrid mechatronics engineer, biotechnologist and interaction designer, and has worked on a range of industry and research projects ranging from art installations at Vivid Sydney, rehabilitative games and exoskeletons, bioreactors, drones, makerspaces, industrial robots, facility management systems, green architecture, and speculative and futures design projects.

  • For participants under the age of 16, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.

  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
