Blood and plasma donations
Hurstville has its very own state of the art Australian Red Cross Lifeblood donation centre. They are always looking for donors to join the ranks of our community lifesavers.

New and unused nappies
Council is supporting The Nappy Collective with a donation point at our Civic Centre is Hurstville.
The Nappy Collective collects donations of new and leftover nappies — the ones your little ones have outgrown or no longer need. They share them through their nationwide network of charity partners, reaching families in every state.

Platform Nine
Platform Nine is a program operated by Kingsway Community Care. It offers short-term housing for people affected by family violence or those who are homeless.
Council supports Platform Nine through a donation drive located at the Hurstville Civic Centre. The drive accepts items including:

Toys (new).

Toiletry products (for all genders).

In-date non-perishable food.

Small items for men such as underwear, socks, hats, and backpacks.

The Kogarah Storehouse is the outreach mission of The Kogarah Uniting Church. They support local families and individuals with essential services.
