Venue Hire Grants provide full or partial subsidy of Council venue hire for community organisations. Grants are provided as in-kind support for the cost of venue hire.
 

Venue Hire Grants 2024-2025

Applications for Venue Hire Grants 2024-2025 are open. This round is for venue hire between 1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025. Applications take 8 weeks to process.

• Information Session 3: Tuesday 7 May, 10.00am - 11.30am, Online.
• Information Session 4: Tuesday 14 May, 1.30pm - 3.00pm, Activities Room, Clive James Library Kogarah.
• Information Session 5: Monday 20 May, 4.00pm - 5.30pm, Miles Franklin Room, Hurstville Library.
• Information Session 6: Wednesday 29 May, 9.30am - 11.00am, Online.

How to apply 

• Read the Venue Hire Grants 2024-2025 Grant Guidelines and Venue Hire Grants section (pages 22-24) of Council's Grants and Donations Policy (2023).

• Contact Council's Grants officer to discuss your application.

• You must have a tentative booking for the venue/facility and attach your booking confirmation to the application form. Explore what venues and parks are open for bookings. 

• Start your application on our SmartyGrants page, making sure you choose the right form for the financial year when your booking takes place.

Please note there are financial reporting requirements for recipients of Council funding.
