School Holiday Activity: Coral Reef Coasters at Clive James Library (Council Led Event)

Learn knot tying techniques from crochet and macramé to create your very own coral reef inspired coasters - perfect for holding your favourite mug!
Be inspired by reef imagery from the Georges River Libraries collection, learn new textile techniques, and combine the two in a slow-crafting, meditative practice. Weave, wrap, stitch and snip to create a coaster that is as unique as you!
This workshop is suitable for young people ages 10-16 years old interested in learning craft techniques. All materials and equipment are provided.

This program is being repeated at multiple locations over the duration of the school holidays. Due to the popularity of our programs, please book for one location only. Customers who book for multiple locations will be advised that their spot will be allocated to customers on the waiting list.

- For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
